Production of injection molds and molds for pressure die casting

  • The Tool Room has many years of experience in manufacturing injection molds for thermoplastics as well as molds for the pressure die casting of aluminum and zamak.
  • We offer the following services: milling of steel parts up to 60 HRC, drilling of holes up to a depth of 1,000 mm, and EDM services.
  • We have a well-equipped machinery park. We have two 5-axis milling machines that allow us to perform the most technologically advanced operations.
  • We have our own construction office, where we employ a group of experienced programmers and technologists.
  • The core of our plant is a close-knit team of over 50 qualified production workers who oversee every stage of mold making.
  • We also have a well-equipped quality control department that checks the various stages of the order as well as ensures the compliance of the manufactured products with the client’s wishes.
  • We take pride in maintaining production standards to ensure the final result is satisfactory for both parties.

Important production steps for customers

We offer production of:

  • injection molds for thermoplastics with a maximum weight of 6,500 kg and dimensions of 1,200x900x800 mm
  • die casting molds for Zamak and aluminum alloys
  • milling of copper and graphite electrodes (3-axis milling machine Exeron HSC 600),
  • milling of steel parts up to 60HRC (5-axis milling machines HERMIE B 300 U and Hermle C400)
  • laser overlay welding and mold reconditioning with KUBO100 laser
  • plunge drilling of boards – up to 1,000 mm with IXION TL1004 machine
  • measuring with digitalization – 3D measuring machine DEA GLOBAL STATUS 09.12.08.

Technological process – tool making consists of the following stages:

Tool design:

  • CAD design with Siemens NX and Catia V5R19
  • CAM programming – Siemens NX
  • Mold flow simulation.

Tool production:

  • machining

  • electromachining
  • deep hole drilling
  • surface grinding
  • TIG welding
  • laser welding.

  • GARANT altimeter –machining parameters: 0-600mm, 5μ
  • VISION HAWK measuring microscope – machining parameters: 200x300mm
  • ZOLLER SMILE 400 cutting tool measuring and adjusting device – machining parameters: spindle runout accuracy of 2µ.

Welding:

  • KUBO 100 laser with ACP 01C positioning system – machining parameters: synchronization of welding along the circle of workpieces up to ø20.

Deep drilling:

  • XION TL 1004 deep hole drilling machine – machining parameters: max 1,000mm.
